Gajalaxmi Hanging Lamp that was used for decades for the Goddess’ Worship. Gajalakshmi Vilakku (Lamp), a traditional Kerala oil lamp made out of brass, portrays Lakshmi – The goddess of wealth as sitting in the full bloomed lotus. The beautifully carved elephants at the sides of the Goddess, the arches and the skillful design between them make this lamp graceful.

This exquisite lamp is often used in the worship of Goddess Bhagavathi (goddess in Sanskrit) which is the general way people refer to the Hindu goddesses in Kerala, Goa and Maharashtra states of India.
